  • How do I purchase a cake? Can I walk-in and purchase a cake?

All our cakes are available for pre-order to purchase through our online shop with a minimum of a 2-day notice. Since our desserts are perishable products, we require you to include a pick up or delivery date during check out so you can receive your dessert in a timely manner.

Our walk-in display fridge at our cafe includes a selection of our 4” cakes and some 6” cakes that are available for purchase on a first-come-first-serve basis. Our cakes cannot include any custom writing for same day orders. If you require custom writing on your cake, please preorder with a 2-day notice.


  • How far in advance do I need to book my order?

We request a 2-day notice for all our bakeshop products. Since we make everything to order, it is always best for us to be able to plan our production schedule with your order in mind. If you require a dessert urgently, we occasionally may be able to fulfill your request on short notice. Give us a call to inquire.

For custom orders, please give us at least 10-days to ensure all specialty products arrive to us in time to fulfill your order. All custom orders placed with a less than 10-day notice have an urgent fulfillment fee of 5%.


  • Can you customize bakeshop cakes?

Our bakeshop cakes are created, priced and sold as seen online. Customization of bakeshop cakes would not be possible as these are meant to be quick and easy to order. If you require a custom cake, please give us ample notice and send us an email or call us to discuss your options.


  • Do you make vegan or gluten-free products

We have some gluten free options such as chocolate meteors and macarons however we currently are not offering any vegan desserts.


  • Do you deliver? Is pick-up available?

Yes, we currently offer delivery in select areas of the GTA.

To find an accurate pricing for your area, enter your postal code during check out to find out which options are available for you. These rates exclude delivery and set-up of wedding cakes.

Our pick-up location is based in Thornhill, Ontario at 12 Centre Street.


  • How long do your cakes last?

Our cakes are made fresh so they last in the fridge and maintain freshness overnight. If you have too much left over cake, you can freeze it in individual portions and thaw it at a later date. Some products are recommended to be consumed on the same day. Please refer to product descriptions for more details.


  • Are your cakes halal?

We do not use any beef or pork products in our ingredients. As a beef/pork gelatin halal and kosher substitute, we use a fish gelatin in our mousses, glazes and fillings (Please send us an email for more information on this product). We also use alcohol based vanilla extracts in all our cakes and pastries. Since the quantity we use is typically less than 5% of the total recipe, the insignificant alcohol content does not have any effect on the person consuming it. Additionally, since our cakes are baked to an internal temperature of over 165 degrees Fahrenheit, the alcohol content is fully evaporated before consumption.


  • Are you on Ubereats or Skipthedishes?

No, we do not affiliate our products with delivery services like Uber or Skip the Dishes. Our products are very fragile and need to be delivered with a lot of care. Our only delivery service is fulfilled through our trained in-house delivery drivers who ensures that your order arrives safe and sound to your location.


  • When can I expect my order to arrive on my delivery date?

Our delivery windows vary depending on the day of the week. The daily routes may be different depending on the areas that we need to visit that day. If you require a specific delivery time, we may be able to give you a shorter delivery window closer to the day of your order. Please give us a call after placing your order if you have a specific delivery time request and although we cannot guarantee, we will try our best to accommodate your needs.


  • When is my order ready for pick up? I didn’t receive a confirmation.

Once placed, your order will go into processing. You should receive a confirmation email moments after placing your order. If you have not received it, please check your spam/junk folder.

Your pick up will be ready at 12PM on the day that you request during checkout. We recommend picking your order up the day that it is requested as we do not remake any orders. Please give us a 48-hour notice for any changes to your pick-up date.
